I’ve been in CPG for a long time, in every role. Customer. CPG Founder. Now, a Creative. Who better to create stop-and-stare brands than a customer who scans the aisles for good packaging in the first place?
In 2016, I founded MONTA, a minimalist aromatherapy & skincare line inspired by meaningful places in nature. I scaled the line into 8 products — available nationwide in small boutiques, Urban Outfitters, and Free People.
After MONTA, I was itching for a new venture and simultaneously passionate about dessert. Hey! was conceptualized - a DTC ice cream built for social media virality. I couldn’t bootstrap a food brand, though. Pitch deck in hand, I started fundraising and picking up some mentors & investors along the way. The feedback was unanimous: investors were intrigued by the market opportunity, but genuinely excited about the brand. Eventually, enough people were so thrilled with my deck that they asked me to do the same for them. So I did.
With a University of Michigan Business degree and my deck as the framework, I supported the successful raises of countless companies with well-designed, strategic pitch decks. Pitch decks turned into logos, packaging, photography. The energy of startups was where I wanted to be. Here I am, helping others tell their stories through design.
What’s beyond the function is where I thrive. I believe companies offer more than just a product; they also offer experiences that make us feel. Enlivened by well-designed products that make life more fun, the grocery store is my art museum. A blank canvas is my playground.
